  • Our standard terms are 50% deposit with the balance payable within 7 days of completion. Prices as quoted above are valid for 30 days from date of quote.
  • Title and ownership to any goods sold to you on this invoice, or any related invoice shall remain with Perth Picket Fencing (PPF) and will not pass to you until full payment is received.
  • PPF install the fence along the line indicated by you – as the client it is your responsibility to confirm the correct orientation and location of the boundary.
  • If subsurface or otherwise concealed conditions are encountered which differ materially from those described, such as rock or physical conditions of an unusual nature which cause any furtherance in 􀆟me and/or materials, PPF will be entitled to an equitable adjustment in the contract price, an extension of the completion time, or both, by change to the original quote and order.
  • As the client (including contractors, agents and/or representatives) you agree to check and advise the location of any underground services (including, but not limited to, water or gas pipes, electricity, data and/or telecommunications cables) and make known to PPF any information relating to such services before engaging us to perform any excavation or related work at the job location. The location of these services remains your responsibility. Unless specified, the cost of locating underground services by an independent service locating contractor, or similar, is not included in this quotation.
  • You as the customer understands that PPF will rely upon information provided by you and are performing the work reliant on this information. Therefore it is highly recommended that you contact “1100 Dial Before You Dig” prior to any works commencing.
  • PPF will take all care but no responsibility for damage to underground services in locations where the customer has directly instructed PPF to perform work and has advised that there were no such services.
  • You as the customer waive any rights to claim against PPF for any work performed in accordance with your directions and /or instructions.
  • You as the customer release PPF from any and all claims, actions and demands in relation to work performed in accordance with your directions and instructions. PPF disclaims to the maximum extent permitied by law any and all liability for any damage caused or loss suffered as a result of PPF performing the work in accordance with the directions and instructions of the customer.
  • Unless otherwise provided in this quota􀆟on, you as the customer shall obtain all and any necessary permits for the contracted work and supply a copy of such permits to PPF prior to commencement.
  • If core drilling is to take place on your property, any damage which may be caused to reticulation, water pipes, electrical conduits or any other services or structures, including the structure to be drilled will be your responsibility.
  • PPF are unable to accept responsibility for the structural integrity of existing structures which will support the fence, including those made from limestone, bricks, concrete etc and any resulting damage will be your responsibility.
  • No allowance has been made for relaying of pavers or rehanging/adjustment of existing gates atiached to or abuting the new/replaced fence.
  • No allowance has been made for removal of vegetation – a 600mm boundary along the fence line is to be cleared by you prior to commencement of works, unless specified in the quote above.
  • We recommend that you protect any plants close to the fence line/access points as although we will take all possible care we cannot guarantee that there will not be damage done to plants.
  • No allowance has been made for hard digging involving rocks, large tree roots, concrete etc.
  • PPF will require easy access to power and water on site.
  • Timber is a natural product and can shrink and check over time. Variation in timber dimensions and trueness is expected within limits
  • Green/rough sawn jarrah: Please note that this product has not been kiln dried. It will dry naturally and will shrink and check. This will not affect the structural rating of this product.
  • Jarrah Paling: Please note that this is not a complete privacy fence and once weathered/dried will allow some line of sight through the fence. 10-20mm plus gaps are not unexpected
  • We offer a 12 month warranty on materials and workmanship.
  • Fence dimensions, please note that timber fences are significantly thicker (150-180mm) than other types of fencing, ie Colorbond, Asbestos, Hardie panel (corrugated panel fencing) approx 50-75mm. This can result in adjoining structure such as fences, gates, pavers and other structures both above and below ground no longer fiting or matching up as with the previous fence.
  • Unless otherwise specifically stated in the quote PPF is not responsible for the reinstatement of any abuting structures, ie gates, pavers, adjoining fences etc
  • PPF are not specialist pavers, we recommend that the owner engage a professional paving company to relay any paver that need to be moved in the removal of the old fence and installation of the new. PPF will only loosely relay pavers to acosmetic level. We are not responsible for and requires substrate, compaction or edging that may or not be required for the pavers.
  • Please note: No allowance has been made for the removal of soil overburden from site. Any excess soil from the digging of post holes or plinths etc will be leti onsite adjacent to the new fence.
  • No allowance has been made for removal of vegetation, fenceline to be cleared by yourself prior to commencement of works, unless specified in the quote above.
  • Unless otherwise stated on the quote PPF does not supply any temporary fencing, it is owners responsibility to arrange for temp fencing if required. It is the owner responsibility to ensure that any pets or children are secured during demolition, construction and overnight if the fence installation will take more that 1 day.
